This Island is a Historic and Heroic Greek island with the most lovely views from the sea and from the island towards the sea.
You would do well to hire with a few friends, a Sea Taxi, to ride around the island and enjoy the views from the sea, the pine trees, that sometimes reach the very edge of the sea.
1. What to see: The Canons at the Dapia where one drinks their Apperitif, Coffee or their Tea. Certain in the knowledge that one is kept safe from the riff raff. While at the same time watching the goings on of the Sea traffic at the Quay.
2. How to go around the Island: Horse drawn carriage, regular taxis, mopeds, quad bikes or even Water Taxis. There are of course larger Boats to take people for their swimming to special beaches. There is a bus as well, for the regular bus ride to the south of the island where are, some of the loveliest beaches
3. Beaches: Ag. Marina, Ag. Anargyroi,etc. etc.
4. Walks at the sea front. This island has some of the longest sea walks that are never boring and most definitely the most Romantic. While at the same time keeping one fit.
5. Where to eat: At the old Harbour come old Ship Yard are the most exciting tavernas and restaurants some of which are on a decking right on the sea.
